Artist and neon maker Julia Bickerstaff very kindly allowed us to photograph her recently as she worked on the neon sign that will form the centre of our installation, Pioneer, for Gunby Hall & Gardens‘ Orchard Gallery in August. It was fascinating to watch her work and to hear all about the process. We can’t wait to see the finished sign.
